Hi, I'm Ellie; the founder of Trinity K9 Academy!
The inspiration for both the company and its name came from my three dogs at the time. One of them, Indie, played a pivotal role in shaping the vision of the company. In her younger days, Indie presented significant challenges, proving to be quite a handful (to say the least!). However, the experiences had and lessons learned while raising her, coupled with the passion for dog training that emerged from overcoming those challenges, have moulded me into the trainer I am today.

Indie, the dog that started it all, now joins me at work every day, contributing to the positive transformation of dogs across the country.
Her journey remains an integral part of my story and a constant reminder of the impact that understanding, determination, and dedication can have on a dog's life.

Indie is not just my pet; she's a vital companion in my mission to make a difference in the lives of other dogs and their owners.

What Our Clients Are Saying...

  • "The passion Trinity K9 Academy has for dogs to live their lives happy and confident comes through in their training. They have gone above and beyond for me and Duds and I will forever be grateful for what they've done for us. If you are in any doubt I guarantee you won’t regret trusting Trinity K9 Academy with your dog."

    Residential Training

  • “Trinity K9 Academy have made such a positive impact with their training - we are now confident allowing Louis off lead, knowing he will come when called alongside other obedience training such as walking past dogs at heel. Something we truly thought impossible. The change in Louis left us a bit speechless - he is less frantic/frustrated on walks, doesn’t react when he sees another dog and happily stays close by. Thank you Trinity K9, we’re so blown away with the work you have done with Louis and so grateful.”

  • “Trinity K9 Academy is amazing, they are very knowledgeable and a real calming presence for both you and your dog. We had our initial appointment and after that I saw massive improvements in my dog and I had the tools to be able to take it out in the real world. My dog is extremely reactive towards dogs and Trinity K9 had us walking around Virginia water without one reactive incident towards any dog. I’m really looking forward to continuing our training. I’d highly recommend to anyone needing training and reassurance. It is well worth it!!”

  • I don’t honestly know where to start with Trinity K9. They took our family and our lovely insecure, nervous, basket case, reactive, sweet, silly and sensitive boy under their wing. After much deliberation and almost rehoming him due to fairly intense behavioural problems we booked him in for Residential Training - it was the best decision we could ever have made for our whole family. We can now walk together and enjoy life side by side which is truly priceless to us. If you are in a similar position do not hesitate to ask Trinity K9 Academy for help - you won’t regret it, they truly went above and beyond for our little family.

  • We are based in Virginia Water, Surrey. Our Pack Walk service is currently only available here and in the surrounding areas. However, we do accept dogs from all over the country for Residential Training and Private Lessons. The majority of our Private Lessons are held at Savill Gardens in Windsor Great Park as our aim is to begin training out in the real world as soon as possible.
If you think your dog will struggle in a busy environment, please state this when booking.

  • This will differ from dog to dog.

Our Residential Training Program is fully customised to each dog and their individual needs. It is designed to achieve maximum results over a much shorter period of time as it acts as a reset button for your dog. It typically takes a dog 21 days to fully adjust to a new way of life and to form new habits, which is why this is our minimum length package available.

Private Lessons are better suited to those who have a keen interest in training and the time to dedicate to working with their dog in order to achieve their dog training goals.

If you are unsure, you can fill out our contact form here, and we will get back to you with a recommended training plan to set you and your dog on the right path.

  • The simple answer is it is never too early or too late to start training your dog. We can train a puppy outside from two weeks after its second vaccination, or earlier for Home Visits.
In an ideal world, we recommend starting training your puppy as soon as they come home!
